For our Hahn Airport location, we are looking to fill the following position:

Aircraft Avionic Mechanic (m/f)

Your tasks

  • Conducting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities and work orders on aircraft in the avionics area
  • Independent installation of components onto assemblies according to AwD and work instructions
  • Installation tasks and function tests according to regulation
  • Triage of unscheduled maintenance tasks
  • Replacement of line replaceable units
  • Wire routing and wire repairs
  • Supportive activities during the conduct of repairs in the airframe area such as cleaning of avionic components
  • Correct documentation of all maintenance tasks

Your profile

  • Completed apprenticeship or training as an aircraft equipment electrician or related training and experience
  • Several years of experience in the maintenance of large civil aviation aircraft and in the avionics’ area
  • Knowledge of aircraft systems and electric
  • Skills in electronical tooling
  • Skills in avionic test equipment
  • Relevant knowledge in the airframe structure
  • Knowledge and experience with manufacturer’s & aircraft documentation
    such as WDM, ESWPM, AMM and IPC
  • Very good knowledge of aviation regulations (LBA, EASA, FAA)
  • Good EDP skills
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English for correspondence
  • Class B driver‘s license
  • Comply with the requirements of a background check in accordance with LuftSiG
  • Manual dexterity
  • Confident decision-making and communication performance
  • Readiness for team-oriented collaboration
  • Great ability to work under pressure, flexibility and a conscientious, proactive work approach
  • Readiness for travel and shift duty
