For our Hahn Airport location, we are looking to fill the following position:

Certifying Staff CAT B1 Base Maintenance (m/f)

Your tasks

  • Responsible examiner for a mechanic team
  • Monitoring the team’s activities
  • Coordination and division of daily tasks
  • Depending on the type endorsement, release and approval of work cards after the inspection
  • Troubleshooting for aircraft systems
  • Perform engineering orders and service bulletins
  • Support the team in conducting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities
  • Order replacement parts
  • Prepare NRCs (non-routine card)
  • Conduct documenting tasks

Your profile

  • Completed apprenticeship or training as aircraft mechanic, aircraft builder
    or related training and experience
  • A minimum of five years of experience in the servicing of large,
    civil aviation aircraft and their engines
  • Relevant knowledge in the airframe structure
  • Knowledge and experience with manufacturer’s and aircraft documentation
    such as AMM and IPC
  • Very good knowledge of aviation regulations (LBA, EASA, FAA)
  • Good EDP skills (e.g. in the maintenance software Wings)
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English for correspondence
  • B1 type endorsement B757 and 767
  • Class B driver‘s license
  • Comply with the requirements of a background check in accordance with LuftSiG
  • Manual dexterity
  • Confident decision-making and communication performance
  • Readiness for team-oriented collaboration
  • Great ability to work under pressure, flexibility and a conscientious, proactive work approach
  • Readiness for travel and shift duty
