For our Hahn Airport location, we are looking to fill the following position:

Aircraft Mechanic Base Maintenance (m/f)

Your tasks

  • Conduct of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on aircraft in the airframe/engine area
  • Independent installation of construction parts onto assemblies according to technical drawings and work
  • instructions
  • Installation tasks and function tests according to regulation
  • Triage of unscheduled maintenance tasks
  • Conduct of repairs in the airframe area, on structural parts (metal or fiber-composite)
  • Correct documentation of all maintenance tasks

Your profile

  • Completed apprenticeship or training as aircraft mechanic, aircraft builder or related training and experience
  • A minimum of two years of experience in the servicing of large, civil aviation aircraft and their engines in line and/or base maintenance area
  • Relevant knowledge in the airframe structure
  • Knowledge and experience with manufacturer’s and aircraft documentation
    such as AMM and IPC
  • Very good knowledge of aviation regulations (LBA, EASA, FAA)
  • Good EDP skills (e.g. in the maintenance software Wings)
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English for correspondence
  • Class B driver‘s license
  • Comply with the requirements of a background check in accordance with LuftSiG
  • Manual dexterity
  • Confident decision-making and communication performance
  • Readiness for team-oriented collaboration
  • Great ability to work under pressure, flexibility and a conscientious, proactive work approach
  • Readiness for travel and shift duty
