For our Hahn Airport location, we are looking to fill the following position:

Aircraft Sheet Metal Worker (m/f)

Your tasks

  • Conducting repairs on aircraft in the airframe and outer skin area
  • Performing repairs on structural components in metal and fiber composite
  • Independently installing components onto assemblies according to technical drawings and work instructions
  • Dismounting and installing components
  • Dealing with different materials such as aluminum and titanium alloys
  • Setting blind rivets, fitting-bolt rivets and solid rivets; drilling, countersinking and reaming
  • Application of joining techniques
  • Determining part and material availability
  • Conduct documenting tasks

Your profile

  • Completed apprenticeship or training in a metal working trade such as metal worker, construction mechanic,
    plant mechanic, car mechanic or similar education
  • Experience in the aviation industry is preferable
  • Confident drawing reading and safe handling even of more recent standards and regulations
  • Good EDP and PC application skills
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English
  • Class B driver‘s license
  • Comply with the requirements of a background check in accordance with LuftSiG
  • Manual dexterity
  • Confident decision-making and communication performance
  • Readiness for team-oriented collaboration
  • Great ability to work under pressure, flexibility and a conscientious, proactive work approach
  • Readiness for travel and shift duty
